U.S Bank Credit Card Issues

Post subject: U.S. Bank Credit Card Problems
This message posted by e-mail request from one of the visitors to our site:
i haven't seen this situation on the site. my brother went into u.s. bank to pay his monthly bill, the account w2as shown closed. this didn't make sense, but the bank would,t take payment as "no where to apply" account closed.
thus, he called credit-card from bank, and after many people, they wanted "updated profile" social security card...etc. its been over a week, no phone call, letter or e-mail, so brother bob, feels he won't use card anyway, but might mail payment in, and if they want "updated" profile" they should have notified him, they didn't, so he's through with them anyway, but do you think, he should mail payment in?

MAIL THE PAYMENT so you won't have a late fee
They possibly changed the account number
but it should CROSS REFERENCE

You can arrange payments from the bank's account , or also if he has a MBNA credit card ,he can arrange the payments from Bill payer.
