I have been searching for several months for credit for a non-profit-organization. Every application I have come across request the social security number of one of the executives and makes the decision based on that persons credit. We are trying to get company credit that is exclusively that of the company. We are funded by the government but must implement our programs prior to recieving govermental funds. If anyone has information on how we can get credit for the company exclusive of the officers, it would be greatly appreciated. This is to be used to benefit school aged children and their education. Thank you.

Just for a moment try sitting in the chair of the credit manager who is responsible for granting you credit. That person is responsible for keeping losses down to a minimum and granting credit only to those companies who can reasonably be expected to pay their obligations. What criteria would you use? Perhaps credit history? Oops, there is none. Ok, now where do we go? Well, we have to get personal guarantees from the principles.
This is a very common thing. I doubt you'll find altruism in the banking industry. If the business - profit or non-profit - doesn't measure up they'll always ask for personal information & guarantees.
