Post subject: Sears MasterCard Credit Credit Card Promotion

Has anyone else seen the SEARS MasterCard promotion offering convenience checks to pay off a loan at 3.99% APR. I received one recently and I am tempted to take advantage of this offer, BUT I am skeptical and wonder if it is some sort of a scam.

I have done 100's of them!!!

It is called a BALANCE TRANSFER

Thanks for a response, mouse - I just couldn't figure out why SEARS MasterCard can offer me a loan at 3.99% my auto loan with the credit union is at 6%. I figured it was TOO GOOD TO BE TRUE.

3.99% is HIGH

There are 0.00% offers all over the place!!!

I have one with CITIBANK and AMEX

Take it and be happy!!!

Be careful though and read the FINE PRINT

Pay it off before it expires (unless it is TILL PAID)

Yes, I received the same offer. In fact, I've received four offers from Sears MasterCard. There's also an offer at 1.99% valid through 5/1/2006 no fee as well as the 3.99% offer--at least, that's what I have now.

No scam. Lots of cheap money floating around these days!
