I just moved from Germany to the US. Its nearly impossible to get a credit card for me even by having an excellent credit history in Germany.
Is there any way to get an unsecured card for me. How could I avoid that I always get an answer like: Request was denied because of insufficient information.
Will an international credit report help to establish credit in this country. If so where could I get one here in the US.
Thanks
Hartmut

Hartmut,
It will probably be easier and more cost effective for you to just apply for a secured card. Please be advised that applying for multiple unsecured cards will result in multiple inquiries on your credit file. A secired card will help you build a credit history here in the States. You can find a list of attractive secured cards on our "Poor Credit" page at...

Hope this helps and good luck!
