Post subject: Your opinion on American Express Blue
Hi all! I have 3 other credit cards that I recently on each of them transfered car loan, student loan and on third one my vacation, I got this offer for AE blue that I'm not sure if I should take it? and of course that would be my last one, and also would 4 credit cards be bad for my credit history? I've read reviews but didn't see any good feedback what's your opinion?

Excellent card IMHO. You will love it. AMEX is a great company to do business with.

good or bad, I sent application too bad, as of May 1, 2002, American Express is discontinuing the Best Value Guarantee where they refund the difference if you find a lower price on any most items you purchase with the card.

Micko, Thanks for your post and welcome to the board! I had forgot about "Best Value Guarantee". Great program, but I bet that it proved to be quite unprofitable. :0)
Let us know how your application turns out...
Best Regards,

Unless you plan to apply for car loan or mortgage, and worry that the lender may think you have too much credit, or tempt to charge up your credit card, I don't see why you have to worry about how many credit card you should have. I apply for every pre-approved credit card offer that I think it's worthy, e.g. 0% APR for balance transfer, etc. HJM.
