Meet Amber Ray:

Amber began working for CardRatings.com on a part-time basis in July of 2005 while pursuing her bachelor's degree at the University of Arkansas at Little Rock. She was promoted to VP of Operations and became a full-time salaried employee in August of 2007.

Amber worked in a managerial capacity for a mid-sized technology company for five years prior to her employment with CardRatings.com. Although her professional background is primarily in accounting and human resources, her personal experiences have provided her with first-hand knowledge of the importance of financial literacy. Amber is a member of the Arkansas Young Professionals Network and the Arkansas JumpStart Coalition for Financial Literacy. She enjoys spending time with her family, reading, traveling, and helping educate others about credit.

Congrats to Amber on the birth of Brenden, the latest addition to her family, on November 7, 2007! Brenden weighed in at 8 pounds and 8 ounces, and measured 21 inches! What a great Christmas present!
