In order to redeem your points for free AOL you have to call in and ask for them to be redeemed. I purchase everything on my card, earn my points, pay the balance and have never had a problem. I also, like one of the previous posters, had a problem with a purchase and the AOL Visa customer service people backed me up 100%. I, for one, don't pay exorbitant MAFIA rates. Lower rates are offered to those who pay their charges on time and don't go over the limit. Once I was in New Jersey and my husband was in South Carolina. Just by coincidence we both used our AOL Visa cards at the exact same time. Our card was frozen, immediately. I called AOL and they explained to me that they thought this suspicious. It was an inconvenience but one I didn't mind cause they were looking out for us. I have another card to use for those emergencies. I would recommend these people, customer service has always been considerate to me, I trust the company and have never had a problem that wasn't resolved cordially and instantly. I was late one time (three days) and my interest rate was increased dramatically. And I can never get any customer service. I would not recommend this card to anyone. It will take me forever to pay off a $2000.00 balance. What happened to your internet site? Anytime I've tried to look up a website, my browser tells me there is no website available. I am an employee of my local phone company, my checks go directly into the account and I use my card to pay bills and shop.
